Headquarters of TurkPA opens in Baku
The opening ceremony of the International headquarters of the Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries (TurkPA) held in Baku on Thursday.
The ceremony was attended by the head of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ogtay Asadov, Turkey - Ismail Gahraman, Kazakhstan - Nurlan Nigmatulin, and Kyrgyzstan - Chinibay Dursunbekov.
The decision on the establishment of the TurkPA was adopted earlier by the heads Turkic-speaking countries. The aim of its creation is to strengthen comprehensive ties between the Turkic-speaking countries. -02D-
