High-ranking Armenian Officers Killed
Baku / 29.10.20 / Turan: During yesterday's battles, attempts by units of the Armenian Armed Forces to attack the positions of the Azerbaijani army were suppressed. As a result of retaliatory measures, high-ranking commanders of the Armenian Armed Forces were killed, the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported.
In particular, attempts by the enemy to attack in several directions were prevented. The enemy retreated, suffering significant losses in manpower and equipment.
“As a result of the measures taken, the deputy commander of the first combined arms army, Colonel Artur Sargsyan, and the chief of communications of the 18th motorized rifle division, Major Aram Gazaryan, were destroyed.
