Human rights activists urged security officials to investigate acts of violence against observers
Baku / 22.02.20 / Turan: A monitoring group of human rights organizations sent appeals to the Prosecutor General and Interior Minister of Azerbaijan, Zakir Garalov and Vilayat Eyvazov, in which they expressed concern about the incidents of violence during the February 9 early parliamentary elections.
The facts of the brutal beating of women - Kenul Suleimanli in the 13th precinct of the 28th Sabunchu third constituency and Jale Bayramova in the 16th precinct of the 76th Lankaran-Astara constituency are especially noted.
Video materials confirming both facts are distributed on social networks.
Human rights activists urge the prosecutor general and the Interior Minister to take control of both of these cases of violence, investigate them and punish the perpetrators of hooligan actions that cast a shadow on the elections.
