I.Aliyev congratulated Israel's President on Independence Day and looks forward to his visit to Baku
Baku/25.04.23/Turan: Azerbaijani-Israeli relations are developing upwards and have reached high level. This is based on centuries-old strong friendship and mutual sympathy uniting the two peoples. It is said in a congratulatory letter from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Israeli President Ishaq Herzog on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Israel's independence.
The high level of political dialogue between the two states creates favourable conditions for expanding and enriching cooperation in economy, energy, high technologies, education, military-technical and other areas.
"I am confident that the opening of Azerbaijan's trade and tourism representative office in Israel, as well as the opening of an Embassy this year will contribute to further development of our interstate relations. I believe that in accordance with the interests of our peoples and countries, we will successfully continue joint efforts to make full use of the great potential of Azerbaijani-Israeli friendship and cooperation," the letter says.
Aliyev also expressed hope for an early meeting with the Israeli President in Baku. -03-
