Igbal Aghazadeh Intends to File Complaint of Election in Agdash

In the re-run parliamentary elections at the 90th Agdash constituency, which took place on June 19, the leader is the representative of the ruling party New Azerbaijan Javid Osmanov. According to preliminary data of the CEC, he was voted by 85.56% of the voters that participated in the elections. The leader of the party Umid (Hope) Igbal Aghazadeh is in the second place with 7.84% of the votes.

However, according to Aghazadeh, the elections were held with mass violations. According to him, everywhere obstacles were created for his observers, the voters were intimidated and the so-called Carousel fraud was committed. Aghazadeh intends to file a complaint against the election irregularities.

Note that Osmanov is the deputy head of the Agdash district administration. In the 90th district there were also five independent candidates. Official results of the elections will be announced by the Central Election Commission within 20 days. After this, the Constitutional Court will approve them in 10 days.

Repeated elections for the 90th constituency of Agdash were appointed in connection with the cancellation of the election results of November 1, 2015, according to which, the election was won by the head of AG Bank Chingiz Asadullayev. The reason for the cancellation was the violations identified during the voting. However, on dozens of other districts, where the opposition candidates reported numerous violations, such a decision was never taken. According to unofficial information, the reason for the cancellation of elections in Agdash was Asadullayev's proximity to the disgraced former Minister of National Security Eldar Mahmudov. -06D-
