Ilham Aliyev Approves Destruction of Armenian Helicopter
President Ilham Aliyev approved the destruction of the Armenian helicopter near the village Kengerli of the Agdam district of Azerbaijan. He said this when visiting the staff of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in Shamkir on Saturday.
The official statement on this issue does not say specifically about the helicopter. At the same time, the information states that "Aliyev condemned the provocation of the Armenian armed forces associated with the violation of the contact line, and praised the successful suppression of the provocation by the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan. The President expressed confidence that our armed forces have high combat capability and will continue to provide an adequate response to any provocation of the enemy. President Ilham Aliyev gave relevant instructions in relation to the situation."
Recall that the incident took place at 13:45 on November 12, when two Armenian military helicopters crossed the front line and turned over the post of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. Shot by a portable air defense missile system, one of the perpetrators was brought down, and the other returned to the Armenian side.
The soldier that destroyed the enemy helicopter was awarded with a military order. -02D-
