President At a meeting with participants of the Fifth World Congress of news agencies in Baku Ilham Aliyev responded to a question about the possibility of joining the policy of his children. Thus, the General Director of the Swedish Agency "TT" Jonas Olof Eriksson asked whether Aliyev expects his children to become politicians? "It depends on their desires and plans. I think now they are satisfied with their work," said Aliyev. According to him, his children are very active in the cultural and social issues. By the way, two of them are related to the media. "My eldest daughter over the years is the editor-in-chief of "Baku" magazine, representing Azerbaijan Russian and international audience.
My second daughter is also involved in issues related to journalism. She received journalism education, and works on a documentary about Azerbaijan, as a modern country with a rich history, and participates in other activities," Aliyev continued.
As for his son, Aliyev said: "My son is a student. His further choice depends on him. He studies economy in Baku. Thus, it will be their decision. Azerbaijan is a country that creates equal opportunities for all. If they want to tie their future to the policy, it will be their choice.”- 06D-
