Ilham Aliyev gives consent to participate in the summit of Non-Aligned Countries in Tehran
On July 12, President Ilham Aliyev received the Minister of Education of Iran, Hamidrza Hadjibabai. According to the Iranian embassy in Baku, Ilham Aliyev, the Minister conveyed an invitation from the Iranian President Ahmadinejad to take part in the Non-Aligned Summit in Tehran.
According to the same source, during the meeting Hadjibabai told about "fraternal and sincere relations between the two countries", and the benefits of mutual cooperation. According to the Iranian Embassy, Ilham Aliyev accepted the invitation to come to Tehran for a summit of Non-Aligned countries, and to have a meeting with Ahmadinejad.
It is noteworthy, that the press service of Azerbaijan has not yet reported about his meeting with the Iranian Minister. -02D-
