Ilham Aliyev Happy with Development of Relations with US and Israel
The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Sunday received a delegation led by the Executive Director of the American Jewish Committee, David Harris, and the President of the Committee John Shapiro.
According to the President's website, at the meeting the sides exchanged views on the ongoing reforms in Azerbaijan in economic and other spheres.
The sides discussed bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the United States, expressed their satisfaction with their development in various areas, and "expressed confidence that Azerbaijan-US cooperation will continue in the future."
Then they talked about the Azerbaijani-Israeli relations, expressed satisfaction with their progress in various spheres, and underlined importance of the visit of the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Azerbaijan in terms of the expansion of these ties.
The sides also expressed confidence that cooperation between Azerbaijan and the American Jewish Committee will continue. -06D--
