"The relationship we have developed is on the increase. We regularly keep in touch at our level, at the level of governments, develop economic and humanitarian relations, and what has never happened before, in some other other areas we are actively cooperating. This is an element of trust, which is strengthened constantly in bilateral contacts," said Vladimir Putin.

He also proposed to discuss "urgent long-standing problems," which relate to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
