Ilham Aliyev: No one can dictate to us

Azerbaijan is 'for' an equal partnership with all countries, Ilham Aliyev said at a conference on regional development. "Our only wish for every country is to build relations with Azerbaijan as an equal partner. We want it, demand it and will achieve it. With all countries, regardless of their size, we will build equal relations. Beyond this, there cannot be a relationship.

Before state, we do not and cannot have, any obligations and no one can give us lessons. We are committed to the international organizations of which we are members. 

International organizations, of which we are not members, have no right to bring any claims to us. Let them once more hear it," said Aliyev.

It can be assumed that Aliyev addressed his message to the European Union, whose members in recent days strongly criticized Baku for the persecution of political activists.

Next Aliyev stressed that in Azerbaijan's investment portfolio diversification in Asia and Latin America looks attractive. -06D-
