On Friday, the head of state Ilham Aliyev received EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Herbert Salber and representatives of the EU mission in Baku. Salber substantiate his second visit in the last period, the need to examine the situation after the April acute on the front line, reds the official report. According Salber, the situation will be reviewed in the near future in Luxembourg at a special meeting of the EU Council on Foreign Affairs.
The EU mission was informed of the facts of shelling Azerbaijani settlements by the Armenian side, which was the cause of exacerbation. The sides also discussed issues related to the process of settlement of the Karabakh conflict and Azerbaijan's cooperation with the EU. -02В-
