Civil society proposes to adopt a law on the status of martyr
On Friday the next meeting of the public association "Civil Society Platform (CSP)” discussed the obstacles to the activities of NGOs, the situation on the Karabakh front and the status of the victims in the military front.
In particular, it is proposed to use the experience of Turkey, and adopt a law on martyrs. This document should provide high benefits for the families of fallen soldiers, and social benefits. The CSP will prepare and submit a bill to parliament.
The CSP-members also condemned the campaign of harassment the PFPA leader Ali Kerimli and rallies in front of his house. Such threats are not acceptable and can give rise to negative trends.
The CSP was established in the beginning of this year, about 30 activists of the civil society of the country in order to consolidate efforts to promote democratic ideas, the nomination proposals for solving the country's problems. -06D--

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
