Ilham Aliyev Receives EU Special Representative for South Caucasus Conflicts
Ilham Aliyev received EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Conflicts Herbert Salber. During the meeting they discussed issues related to the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
Aliyev said Azerbaijan's commitment to the rapid peaceful settlement and noted the importance of demonstrating a constructive approach by Armenia.
He also stated the need to intensify the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group and international organizations, including the EU and its various agencies.
The parties also discussed the current state and prospects of relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union, the website of the President reported. -16D-

Today, September 7, 2024, the second picket in support of Igbal Abilov was held in The Hague (Netherlands) in front of the Embassy of Azerbaijan. The event was organized by Igbal's friends and colleagues. During the picket, protesters continued to collect signatures for the petition and called on Azerbaijan authorities to stop persecution and free Igbal. This is the second rally in support of Abilov in Europe.
