Population in Need of Social Protection and Communication Services
The total number of visits to the portal of Electronic Government (www.e-gov.az) of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan from December 1, 2012 to January 1, 2015 was 3 million 614.78 thousand at 398 services submitted to the portal.
The total number of persons who have applied in the two years to the services of the portal, was 1 million 137 thousand 975 people, which indicates a growing interest. Almost a third (31.5%) of those who apply for virtual services are new users. In this case, by January 1 of this year, 161 239 people received simple passcode to access the portal.
In December 2014 most of the calls were associated with obtaining social services, including the State Fund for Social Protection and through the Ministry of Communications and High Tech. --17D-

While the global economy faces persistent challenges, trade between China and Azerbaijan has defied downward trends, demonstrating significant growth. According to official statistics from Azerbaijan, bilateral trade in 2023 reached 3.1 billion US dollars. In just the first ten months of 2024, trade volume increased by 17.1% year-on-year, reaching 3.02 billion US dollars, putting the annual trade figure on track to hit a record high.
