Ilham Aliyev receives EU Special Representative Philippe Lefort
On Friday, President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the EU special representative for the conflict and crisis in Georgia, Philippe Lefort.
As the website of the President reported, in the course of the conversation they touched upon the bilateral relations between the EU and Azerbaijan, the situation around the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as the situation of the Azerbaijani refugees.
Lefort was in Armenia a week ago and held talks with the president of this country, as well as the leader of the separatist Nagorno-Karabakh forces. -16D-

In Georgia’s parliamentary elections, the ruling "Georgian Dream" party achieved a significant majority in areas with large Armenian and Azerbaijani populations: Akhalkalaki – 88%, Ninotsminda – 90%, Marneuli – 80%, Bolnisi – 81%, Tetritskaro – 68.6%, Dmanisi – 76.4%, Tsalka – 69.3%, and Gardabani – 70.8%.
