Ilham Aliyev Receives Gazprom Chief
The Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev received the Chairman of the Board of Gazprom of the Russian Federation Viktor Zubkov.
As the website of the head of state said, at the meeting the sides stressed successful development of the relations between Azerbaijan and Russia in all spheres, and expressed confidence in further expansion of the relations.
During the meeting, they expressed satisfaction with the development of cooperation between the two countries in energy and emphasized the successful cooperation between SOCAR and various Russian oil and gas companies, including Gazprom.
The meeting also discussed the importance of the Baku Global Forum held by the International Nizami Ganjavi Center, which was attended by Zubkov. The sides noted the importance of the event in terms of strengthening international cooperation. -06D--
