Italy is an important trading partner for Azerbaijan. Many Italian companies operate in the country. First of all, it is energy, said Aliyev.
He also noted the strengthening of inter-parliamentary ties between the two countries, which plays an important role in improving the bilateral cooperation.
In response, Maria Alberti Kaselati said her delegation"s visit was intended to strengthen the bilateral relations.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation in the field of energy, petrochemical industry, culture, agriculture and others. -02D-

President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
