Ilham Aliyev Receives Roland Kobia
President Ilham Aliyev received Roland Kobia, head of the EU delegation in Baku, on the occasion of completion of Kobia’s diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.
The meeting focused on the successful development of relations between Azerbaijan and the EU, stressed the importance of mutual high-level visits, according to the website of the President.
Kobia worked in Azerbaijan since 2009.
A Swedish diplomat, Malena Mard, has been appointed the new Head of EU Delegation in Baku.
Previously, Mard was a Director of the Department Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and also worked in the Swedish missions in St. Petersburg, Brussels and Dhaka. –06D--
