Ilham Aliyev receives the Ambassador of Israel due to completion of his mission
On Thursday the President Ilham Aliyev received the Ambassador of Israel to Azerbaijan, Michael Lavon-Lotem, due to completion of his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.
The parties noted successful development of bilateral cooperation and expressed confidence in further deepening relations between Azerbaijan and Israel.
According to the Israeli press, Israel's new ambassador to Azerbaijan will be Rafi Arpaz, Director of First Economic Department of Israeli Foreign Minister (North and South America, Africa.) he has been on diplomatic service for over 20 years, worked in Washington, Sweden, Switzerland and in Côte d'Ivoire. It is expected he will arrive in the country in the end of August.—06D-
