Baku/05.11.23/Turan: In the Terter region of Azerbaijan, a 63-year-old man suffered a leg injury as a result of a mine explosion.
The incident occurred on November 5 at about 12.00 in the village of Tepekend, Terter region, which had not been cleared of mines, a mine explosion occurred, the regional press service group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
As a result of the explosion, a resident of the village of Seyidimli, Terter region, Huseynov Asif Novruz oglu, born in 1960, suffered a leg injury.

On November 4, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, at a press conference after negotiations with the head of the German Foreign Ministry, Annalena Bärbock, noted that after the 44-day war in 2020, 960 square meters were mined in Karabakh. km. territory.
“According to preliminary data, over the past three years alone, the illegal regime in Karabakh, with the support of Armenia, has mined 480 kilometers of territory along the “contact line,” up to two kilometers wide. And this means that 960 square kilometers are mined, we are talking about hundreds of thousands of mines,” Bayramov said.
