Israel assesses the possibility of participating in the restoration of Karabakh
Baku/29.07.21/Turan: The relations between Israel and Azerbaijan are of a strategic nature and are built on mutual trust and respect. According to the Israeli media, the Minister of Tourism of the Jewish State, co-chairman of the Azerbaijani-Israeli intergovernmental commission Yoel Razvozov said this at the opening ceremony of the tourism office of Azerbaijan in Tel Aviv.
According to him, the opening of the Trade and Tourism Missions of Azerbaijan in Israel is "a historic milestone in relations between the two countries."
Representative offices will become a new platform for Israeli business people wishing to implement joint business projects in the areas of high technology, energy, water supply, agriculture, medicine, education and investment.
"There has always been great respect and positive attitude towards the Jewish community in our country, and this community played an important role in the life of Azerbaijan. Israel is one of the first countries to recognize the independence of Azerbaijan and establish diplomatic relations," said Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikail Jabbarov at a meeting with Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid.
According to the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, Jabbarov stressed that Tel Aviv has always supported Baku during and after the 44-day Patriotic War.
During his visit to Israel, Jabbarov also met with the Minister of Construction and Housing Policy of Israel Zeev Elkin.
The parties discussed the prospects for strengthening bilateral economic relations and new opportunities for cooperation, encouragement of investments, exchange of experience in the non-oil sector, as well as the participation of Israeli business in the restoration of Karabakh.-06D-
