Oklahoma State Military Delegation Holds Meetings at Department of Defense
Baku/29.07.21/Turan: The head of the International Military Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, General Huseyn Mahmudov, received on Thursday the American delegation led by the commander of the Oklahoma State National Guard, General Michael Thompson.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and the National Guard of Oklahoma, stressing the importance of further development of mutual ties.
A visit of the American delegation to one of the military units of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan was organized.
It should be reminded that a large American delegation headed by the governor of Oklahoma's headquarters has been in Azerbaijan for several days. She was received by the country's president and defense minister. -02D-
