Israel to Show New Achievements of Its Defense Industry in Baku
Israel for the second time will participate in the International Defense Industry Exhibition ADEX 2016 to be held in the capital of Azerbaijan later this month.
According to the press service of the Defense Ministry of Israel, the country will present the "flagship" products of the Israeli defense industry in Baku.
The head of Israel's Ministry of Defense Export Control (Shibata) General Michel Ben-Baruch said: ‘The defense industry around the world is interested in the countries of Eastern Europe and the Pacific, which are considered new and emerging markets.
The Israeli defense industry will present at these exhibitions their best development in the field of robotics, control and monitoring, cybernetics and unmanned systems, the operational capabilities of the majority of which have been proved,’ the website IZrUS quotes the General.
It should be noted that Israel is one of the main partners of Azerbaijan on arms supplies. The contracts for arms purchased from this country in recent years amount to several billions of US dollars. -02D-
