Israeli Foreign Ministry warns citizens of danger in Azerbaijan and other countries
On August 15, the Israeli Foreign Ministry issued a warning to Israeli citizens in countries bordering Iran - Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkmenistan, and Türkiye. The ministry strongly advises "to exercise vigilance and caution." "The Foreign Ministry urges citizens traveling to these countries to be extremely vigilant and cautious" due to threats from Iran, the statement says.
Among the potential actions by Iran is the possibility of terrorist attacks against Israelis, including diplomats and embassies. Diplomats have been given strict instructions to adhere to security protocols, avoid public events, and work from home.
