Jamil Hasanli"s Staff Accuses CEC of Violating This Candidate"s Rights
The campaign staff of the reserve opposition candidate in the presidential elections has accused the Central Election Commission of violating the rights of the applicant. Thus, the staff's statement directed to Turan noted that all the necessary documents for the registration of Hasanli as a candidate for presidency were submitted to the CEC on 24 August. But so far, this application has not been considered, despite numerous reminders.
"The Jamil Hasanli staff believes that the absence of the appropriate decision is a gross violation of the Electoral Code of Azerbaijan and in particular Article 53.6. Therefore, the staff wants the Central Election Commission to correct this violation and comply with the provisions of the Code," the statement said. -16D-
