Equipment Dismantled on Burning Hole
Efforts to extinguish the fire on the gas field Bulla-Deniz continue, the website of SOCAR reported.
With the help of water jets, a defensive zone was established, which allowed two teams of six people to get to the fixed rig and remove 20% of the drilling equipment.
The fire started on August 17, and has not yet been extinguished. According to SOCAR, the cause of the fire was the high pressure of the gas. Bulla-Deniz is located 80 km south of Baku in the Caspian Sea. -16D-
