Jeyhun Bayramov meets with OSCE Secretary General
Baku/25.05.21/Turan: On May 25, at a meeting with OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmid, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, who is on a visit to Austria, spoke about the situation in the post-war period.
During the meeting, the minister noted the importance of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the OSCE, press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Minister Bayramov noted that on November 10, 2020, the 30-year-old conflict was ended by signing a trilateral statement.
"This statement creates broad opportunities for the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan on the basis of respect for the sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of the internationally recognized borders of both countries," he said.
The parties discussed a number of issues arising from trilateral statements. It was noted that the opening of regional transport links opens up new opportunities for all states of the region, including Armenia, and gives Armenia the opportunity to benefit from economic cooperation and development.
The parties also exchanged views on the new situation in the post-conflict region, the processes taking place in the region, measures taken in the direction of the implementation of trilateral statements, issues of cooperation with the OSCE, the processes of restoration, reconstruction and reintegration of the liberated territories. -03-
