Jeyhun Bayramov met with Iranian President
Baku/05.07.22/Turan: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, who is in Tehran on an official visit, was received by Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi on July 4.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the development and strengthening of bilateral relations in the economic and political spheres.
According to IRNA news agency, Raisi voiced the opinion that the visit of the Azerbaijani President to Tehran will give an impetus to the development of bilateral relations.
In turn, the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported that Bayramov emphasized the importance of the meetings of the two Presidents and the agreements reached in Ashgabat.
Bayramov noted the significance of bilateral projects in energy, transport and especially the creation of new communications between East Zangezur region and Nakhchivan via Iran.
He emphasized the implementation of joint projects in the territories liberated from occupation.
The meeting also discussed the situation in the region and the importance of cooperation between the countries of the region to ensure security and stability, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported. -02D-
