Jojug Merjanly Village Liberated from Occupation to Be Restored
The Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on January 24 signed a decree "On measures for the recovery of the Jojug Merjanly village liberated from occupation in the Jabrayil region".
This village situated on the bank of the Araz River along the Azerbaijani-Iranian border was completely liberated from the Armenian occupation as a result of the successful counter-offensive military operations of the Azerbaijani army, held in April of last year.
The Head of State ordered to allocate AZN 4 million (USD 2.1 million) from the President's Reserve Fund in the state budget of Azerbaijan for 2017 for the construction of 50 individual houses, school buildings and related infrastructure at the first stage. -06D--
