Journalists detained in Lankaran have been released
Baku/04.12.23/Turan: Aytaj Mammadli and Shahla Kerim were released from the police an hour after their detention.
The girls reported that they were detained while filming on the streets of the city. The police stated that they did not have the relevant documents and allegedly received complaints that they were disturbing citizens. In the district department, they were demanded to delete records. They refused to do it.

Baku/04.12.23/Turan: Today, freelance reporters Shahla Kerim and Aytaj Mammadli were detained in Lankaran while filming, people close to them told Turan. The journalists were taken to the Lankaran district police department, and were demanded to delete records from their phones.
The attempts to get comments from the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were futile.—06B-
