State Border Service on statistics for November
Baku/04.12.23/Turan: In November 2023, the State Border Service detained 38 people for violating the state border: 18 citizens of Azerbaijan, 10 - Pakistan, 5 - Iran, 1 - Sri Lanka, 1 - Tajikistan, 1- Algeria, 1 – India, 1 - Nigeria. 14 people were detained while trying to cross the state border with fake stamps, fake passports and other people's documents.
During the reporting period, 387 wanted persons were detained and handed over to the relevant authorities. 408 persons were banned from leaving the country, and 24 were banned from entering Azerbaijan.
In November, border guards seized 191 kg of drugs and 6.5 thousand tablets of psychotropic substances from circulation.
During the anti-smuggling measures, goods worth 5.5 manats were seized, the message of the State Border Service for December 4. -0-

The U.S. is the most attractive study destination for students from around the world. More than 1.1 million international students from 210 countries and regions studied there last year.”
