Karabakh Armenians requested fuel, food and other assistance – Baku on the results of the meeting in Yevlakh
Baku/21.09.23/Turan: The meeting of representatives of the Azerbaijani authorities and Karabakh Armenians was held "in a constructive and positive atmosphere." Representatives of Baku responded positively to the request of representatives of Karabakh Armenians to provide fuel, food and other assistance, the message of the administration of the President of Azerbaijan on Thursday following the meeting in the city of Yevlakh of Ramin Mammadov, responsible for contacts with the Armenians of Karabakh, with Sergey Martirosyan and David Melkumyan. A representative of the Joint Russian-Turkish Monitoring Center, Rear Admiral Oleg Semenov, was also present at the meeting as a participant.
"At the meeting, which was held in a constructive and positive atmosphere, issues of reintegration of the Armenian population of Karabakh, restoration of infrastructure and organization of activities based on the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan were discussed," the message reads.
Ramin Mammadov presented plans for reintegration to the Karabakh delegates. They also stressed the importance of the speedy implementation of the issues reflected in the statement of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry on September 20 on the complete disarmament of the Armenian military in Karabakh and their disbandment.
Representatives of the Armenians of the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, during the discussion of social and humanitarian issues, stated that there is a special need for fuel. At the same time, they also asked for humanitarian aid, including food.
Their request was received positively. In particular, it is planned to promptly provide fuel systems for heating kindergartens and schools, as well as the needs of emergency medical care and fire services, as well as provide humanitarian assistance.
