"Karabakh" thrashed "Ludogorets" - 7:2
In the return match of the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League, on the evening of August 13, Aghdam "Karabakh" won a big victory away from home against Bulgarian "Ludogorets".
A week ago in Baku, "Karabakh" lost to the Bulgarians 1:2 and this result complicated the task of the Azerbaijani team.
And at first, in the return game, the events on the field did not develop in favor of "Karabakh".
True, "Karabakh" opened the scoring in the 7th minute after a solo run by Juninho.
However, six minutes later, the hosts equalized the score, and 10 minutes later they took the lead.
By the end of the first half, "Karabakh" managed to recover from the shock.
In the 45+1 minute, Benziya restored the balance. And before going to the break (45+5 minutes), Patryc Andrade put Karabakh ahead – 3:2.
In the second half, the score did not change and since the sum of the two games was 4:4, extra time was appointed.
In the overtime, Karabakh was unstoppable. In the 93rd minute, Toral Bayramov scored the 4th goal.
Then, Jidja, Patrick Andrade again and Yasin Benzia scored a goal each.
The final whistle of the referee recorded a crushing victory of Karabakh over Ludogorets 7:2.
Karabakh entered the playoffs of the Champions League, where its opponent will be Dinamo Zagreb.
