Konstantin Kosachev: Baku and Yerevan are close to resolving the conflict
Baku / 09/23/17 / Turan: Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Council on International Affairs Konstantin Kosachev made a sensational statement that Armenia and Azerbaijan are close to the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
"According to the information I have, the parties to the Karabakh conflict have come close to agreements," Kosachev said at a news conference in Moscow, without revealing the details. Earlier, Armenian Foreign Minister Nalbandian announced the possibility of releasing part of the occupied territories around Karabakh, if there is no threat to the Armenian side from there. Baku has not yet commented on Kosachev's words, and in Yerevan they said that a settlement is possible if Baku recognizes the independence of Karabakh.-02D-
