One of the leading opposition parties in Azerbaijan, "Musavat", will hold its Eighth Congress on September 27 at the Palace of Culture named after Sattar Bahlulzade Amirjan in the village.
Registration of delegates will start at 09:00, and the forum will be opened at 11:00.
The head of the organizing committee of the congress, the current head of the party Isa Gambar, will hold a press conference on Friday at 12:00 at the headquarters.
The main intrigue of the upcoming forum is the election of a new leader.t Qambar, after the 22-year presidency, decided to leave this post. Four candidates have been nominated to this position: Chairman of the executive office of "Musavat" Arif Hajili; Board member party, scientist and economist Gubad Ibadoglu; former leader of the youth organization of the "Musavat" Tural Abbasli, and the party member Sakhavat Alisoy.—06В-

On the evening of February 5, it was reported that journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi had been arrested. She had been a presenter on the Toplum TV channel for several years.
