Maharram Aliyev appointed Ambassador to Belarus
Baku/09.12.23/Turan: By the decree of the head of state dated December 9, Assistant to the President for Military Affairs Maharram Aliyev was relieved of his post. By another order, he has been appointed Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Belarus.
Note that former Baku police chief Maharram Aliyev (born in 1951) has served as Assistant to the President since 2012. In 2017, he took over the post of Deputy Minister of Justice, and in 2019 he was again transferred to the post of Assistant to the President.-0-
