On New Year's Eve, seven days in a row will be days off
Baku/09.12.23/Turan: The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan adopted a resolution on rearranging the calendar of working days on January 4 and 5 with weekends on December 30 and January 7.
Thus, the days from December 31 to January 6 inclusive will not be working days. Thus,
December 31 is a day off on the occasion of the Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis of the World. January 1st and 2nd are New Year's holidays. December 3 becomes a day off because December 31 falls on a Sunday. January 4 and 5 are declared non–working due to today's government decree, followed by another weekend Saturday - January 6. –06B-

On Sunday, December 22, changeable cloudy weather is expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula. Drizzle is possible during the night and morning in some areas of the peninsula. Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
