Maharram Aliyev has started his duties as an ambassador to Belarus

Baku/06.01.24/T uran: On January 5, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Aleynik met with Maharram Aliyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan; the new head of the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission presented copies of credentials.

According to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, the  parties exchanged views on the state and prospects of development of Belarusian-Azerbaijani relations, discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda. Special attention was paid to organizing upcoming visits at the highest levels, strengthening trade and economic cooperation, and agreeing on a roadmap for the development of cooperation. The parties confirmed their commitment to further development of relations in line with the strategic partnership of the two countries.

Let us remind that until recently, Maharram Aliyev served as a co-adviser to the President of Azerbaijan on military issues. -0-
