Mamedyarov on the Gabala Radar Station
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov made an address to the media on issues relating to the planned joint commission and the withdrawal of Russian equipment from the Gabala radar station. He said nothing about the fate of the radar, considering it premature.
As for the possible transfer of the site to a third party, Mammadyarov expressed doubt that anyone would want to take it, adding that no interest has been expressed.
Asked about the situation around the Karabakh settlement, he expressed the opinion that Yerevan will toughen its position in relation to the upcoming presidential election.
According to him, the next meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia will be held the last week in January. -03C-
