Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary in Baku
The Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Siyarto who is currently in Baku with a visit was received by the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan. During the meeting with his Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, was marked by the high level of the bilateral political dialogue, press office of the Foreign Ministry reported. P.Siyarto emphasized that the sixth meeting of the Azerbaijani-Hungarian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation in Baku has created favorable conditions for the development of cooperation in the fields of economy, transport, energy, pharmaceuticals, information and communication technologies, agriculture, etc., and also served as a platform to discuss the practical implementation of cooperation projects. He noted the interest of Hungarian companies to cooperate with their Azerbaijani counterparts. During the meeting, was stressed the importance of successful cooperation and mutual support of Azerbaijan and Hungary in the framework of international organizations. On the same day Siyarto was received by Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, with whom he discussed issues of deepening economic cooperation between the two countries. -02D-

Shamshad Aga, editor of the "Argument.az" website, has been found guilty in the Meydan TV case of smuggling (Article 206.3.2 of the Criminal Code) and sentenced to two months and one day in detention. The decision was made on February 6 by the Khatai District Court of Baku, as reported by Turan, citing his lawyer, Shahla Humbatova.
