MP condemns European Parliament for adoption of anti-Azerbaijani resolution
Baku/05.10.23/Turan: The MEPs turned out to be "more Armenians than the Armenians themselves," Fazil Mustafa, deputy of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, commented on today's resolution of the EP.
According to him, the European Parliament “condemns” Azerbaijan, while the Karabakh Armenians themselves declare that they left the region of their own free will.
"No one except those accused of terrorism has been detained. If the terrorist himself admitted that he gave the order to fire ballistic missiles at Ganja (the former "president" of the separatist regime, Araik Harutyunyan), then what claims can there be against Azerbaijan?" the deputy noted.
In his opinion, the European Parliament has no grounds to accuse Azerbaijan. "If the US State Department and the UN mission that visited the region confirmed that there were no "ethnic cleansing", then on what basis are the MEPs spreading false narratives?" Mustafa said. Instead of supporting the peace process, the European Parliament is taking steps to prevent this.
At the same time, Mustafa noted that the resolution of the European Parliament has no meaning and is nothing more than an empty paper. "There are no grounds for Azerbaijan's accusations. This is a biased anti-Azerbaijani resolution," Mustafa said. ---06B---
