Sahakyan, Ghukasyan, Ishkhanyan are accused of terrorism and other serious crimes
Baku/05.10.23/Turan: Former "presidents" of the separatist regime in Karabakh Bako Sahakyan and Arkady Ghukasyan, as well as the last "chairman of the parliament" of the illegal entity Davit Ishkhanyan have been charged under five Articles of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan, the message of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan.
In particular, the separatists are charged under Articles 214.2.1, 214.2.2, 214.2.3 (terrorism committed by an organized group and repeatedly, with repeated use of firearms), 214-1 (financing of terrorism), 214-3.2 (organization of exercises for the purposes of terrorism), 228.3 (illegal arms trafficking) and 279.3 (creation of armed formations not provided for by law.)
Currently, operational investigative measures are continuing in the criminal case.
Sabail court chose a preventive measure against them in the form of arrest for a period of 4 months.
According to these Articles, they face long prison sentences up to life imprisonment. ---06B---

Activist Nijat Ibrahim, who was detained in Baku pre-trial detention center-1, inflicted numerous wounds on himself on November 20 in protest against unjustified criminal prosecution, his wife Parvin Ibrahim told Turan. According to her, on November 21, her husband called her and informed her that the day before he had inflicted incised wounds on himself with a piece of mirror. In particular, he cut his throat and ears.
