«Musavat» is indignant with tirtures of its member in jail
"Musavat" condemned the inhuman treatment in the Binagadi jail with Tural Abbasli, the leader of the youth organization of the party.
The statement of the party noted that in the days of Ramadan Tural Abbasli was given nothing, but water. The first two days of detention in jail his hands were n handcuffed on his back, and on the third day the handcuffs were chained to a pipe.
The head of the jail, Ramin Imanov, confirmed that contain Abbasli is kept in handcuffs, according to internal requirement of the statute. On August 12 Abbasli was permitted a 15-minute meeting with his mother and brother in the presence of four guards. Brother of Tural said after the meeting that there were traces of handcuffs on Tural’s arms , and the marks of physical violence on his body.
The authors of the statement demanded the dismissal of the chief of jail Ramin Imanova for all these illegal actions, calling international organizations to fix this fact. -05D04-

In Georgia’s parliamentary elections, the ruling "Georgian Dream" party achieved a significant majority in areas with large Armenian and Azerbaijani populations: Akhalkalaki – 88%, Ninotsminda – 90%, Marneuli – 80%, Bolnisi – 81%, Tetritskaro – 68.6%, Dmanisi – 76.4%, Tsalka – 69.3%, and Gardabani – 70.8%.
