Nakhchivan received an air corridor for flights to Turkey
Baku/16.08.19/Turan: On August 15, the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan received a free air corridor for flights to Turkey. This decision was made by the International Civil Aviation Organization. From now on, flights to and from Turkey will be carried out along this corridor.
Earlier flights to and from Turkey ran through Iranian airspace. Now, flight time and flight costs will be reduced. The corridor passes over a narrow strip of territory connecting Nakhchivan with Turkey.
Currently, there are several flights from Nakhchivan to various cities in Turkey. -02D-
