Naryshkin: Relations between Azerbaijan and Russia are strategic
Relations between Azerbaijan and Russia are strategic, the chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Sergey Naryshkin stated.
"Relations between Azerbaijan and Russia are strategic in all areas - political, economic, humanitarian. This is also frequent meetings at the high and the highest level between the leaders of our countries, between the heads of government ministries," Naryshkin said on Saturday at a briefing during the 23rd session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Baku.
He stressed the role of inter-parliamentary cooperation in this direction.
"Fifteen weeks ago we held a regular meeting of parliamentarians of the two countries, and outlined the next steps, and we believe that the parliamentary cooperation is an important part of the overall political dialogue between our countries," continued Naryshkin.
