National Council states about complete election fraud (UPDATED)

Baku/09.10.13/Turan : The election headquarters of presidential candidate of the National Council of Jamil Hasanli made ​​a statement about mass violations during the presidential elections on October 9. According to the document, the violations taking place across the country seriously affect the results of elections. Information about this comes not only from Hasanli’s representatives in election commissions , but also from the voters, observers and the media.

"Violations  are  taking place throughout the country in favor of Ilham Aliyev, the candidate from the party "Yeni Azerbaijan." These violations are intended to prevent the victory of Jamil Hasanli," reads  the statement. From the  early hours of the election  representatives of Hasanli  and independent observers are subjected to pressure. In many cases, the voters were not admitted to the polling stations. In some places they are not allowed to observe or are expelled from polling stations.

There is an information about the arrest  of observers by police. In the 12th district supervisor Khagani Aliyev was kidnapped form the  polling station. The  participation of the representatives of Jamil Hasanli in counting of ballots was not ensured in most election districts,  and in some places they  simply were not considered .

Employees of government agencies  are delivered to  the polling stations, and vote for Ilham Aliyev.

Under pressure from the "Yeni Azerbaijan", the employees of private sector are forced to vote for Ilham Aliyev. In all districts there are "carousel" when groups of people vote in different areas, and there are reports of vote-bribing.  There are incidents of mass ballot stuffing before voting.

Cases of coming  of persons  to the polling stations not related to the territory.

"The electoral process has shown that the government  has chosen the path of falsification elections and announcing Ilham Aliyev  a president. There cannot be a talk about  free, fair and democratic elections.

Therefore, the National Council,  participating in the election as an alternative political force , the a democratic society , international organizations that support democracy , do not accept the election results, and do not recognize them as free and fair," reads the statement.—06D--
