New "bomb" from Elshad Abdullayev to undermine Interior Minister
In exile in France, the former owner of the Azerbaijan International University (AIU) Elshad Abdullayev has placed another sensational video in social networking.
On the half-hour video, shot with a hidden camera, there is a recorded conversation of Abdullayev with deputy police chief of the Baku airport Rasim Ildrymzade (a close relative of the Interior Minister Ramil Usubov and Khatai district prosecutor Yusif Ildrymzade).
Abdullayev discusses the condition to buy freedom for his brother, Police Colonel Mahir Abdullayev kidnapped by a group of people on 13 October 2003. The conversation was recorded on November 11, 2004. Ildrymzade promises Abdullayev to return his brother for $ 1 million.
However, he said that Mahir was contained outside of Azerbaijan, but close to the border. "For example, near Iran or Dagestan,” said the policeman.
At the same time, Ildrymzade said Mahir Abdullayev was kept in good conditions and allegedly he himself had seen the man. "At least, he is not contained in the basement, as Saddam Hussein," says Ildrymzade.
Remarkably, he denies the stealing of the Rector’s brother by criminal groups.
Ildrymzade says Mahir was kidnapped not by ordinary criminals, but by bandits "within the government." However, he does not talk about the motives of the kidnappers, and declares that "Mahir himself will tell all."
Ildrymzade strongly warns Abdullayev not to negotiate with anyone else for the release of his brother and to decline all those, who might come to him with such a proposal.
Ildrymzade confidently guarantees liberation of Mahir Abdullayev, noting his influential connections. "Our roof is Ramil Usubov (Interior Minister) and Mehdiyev (Head of Administration of the President)," he said. -06D-
