Baku/24.06.21/Turan: On Thursday, the head of state Ilham Aliyev awarded thousands of servicemen of the Azerbaijani Army with medals: "For Distinction in Battle", "Brave Fighter", "For Courage", "For the Motherland", "For Military Merit".
A group of officers and soldiers were also awarded the "Karabakh" and "Banner of Azerbaijan" orders.
The awards are timed to the Day of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, which is annually celebrated on June 26.-02D-
