Ombudsman from Moldova Speaks in Yerevan about Genocide in Khojaly
Erevan/05.07.13/Turan-ArmInfo: Ombudsman of the Parliament of Moldova Aurelia Grigoriu July 4 at the European conference held in the Armenian parliament, accused the Armenian side of the occupation of 20% of Azerbaijani lands.
Grigoriu, introducing the "Respect for human rights in areas of frozen conflicts," said that Armenia has occupied 20% of Azerbaijan and committed genocide against the Azerbaijanis. She also noted that the Khojaly events were genocide committed by the Armenians and it is an internationally recognized fact.
On this vice-speaker of the Armenian parliament Hermine Naghdalyan called the lawyer not to use the platform of the Armenian parliament to fulfill orders.
I think the high-ranking guests have to express their disagreement with the fact that some people are trying to use the scientific conference for discussion of invalid matters," said Naghdalyan.
On this the Moldavian lawyer said that she would not go into the details of the conflict. "I note only that in the zones of frozen conflicts violation of human rights is unacceptable," she said. -02D-
